Is this the Most Instagrammable Brunch Spot in Auckland?

If you’re after a beautiful brunch in an equally beautiful setting, look no further than Luxerose Cafe located in the timeless Parnell Rose Gardens. I’m not sure if it’s all the roses, the green outlook or the spacious feel to the place, but the atmosphere here couldn’t feel more relaxed. It would also be perfect to take mum to on Mothers Day!

The reason we went this time was because they’ve recently launched a new $22 breakfast menu which has 6 dishes to choose from and includes a tea or coffee. Given the current climate here in Auckland, this is a great deal which I hope they’ll keep on for a while (the brunch life is quite an expense!). Just make sure to visit before 11 am to take advantage of this deal.

I tried the Benedict which was everything you could want in a good eggs benny. Perfectly poached eggs, a super tasty hollondaise and very fresh cured salmon. My partner had the French Toast which was the breakfast of any sweet tooth’s dreams. The brioche toast was served with a very generous scoop of strawberry ice cream, seasonal fruits and was drenched with maple syrup. Our coffee and tea were even served with mini shortbread bites. It’s the attention to finer details that I really appreciate when it comes to dining out.

With excellent food and service, there’s no doubt Luxerose would be the perfect spot for a special event. Don’t forget Mothers Day on May 14th - I also noticed that they’re offering a special high tea for the occasion.
