Newly Opened in the CBD: Nox Coffee Bar

Melbourne never ceases to impress with so many new cafes popping up all of the time. And let me tell you, Nox Coffee Bar definitely did not fall short.

Tucked away down Little La Trobe St, this gem is a calm oasis from the hustle and bustle of the CBD. It’s kind of got that modern industrial vibe with the brick walls, stone, and greenery throughout. It’s not the biggest space which is what adds to it’s charm as not many people know of it just yet.

In terms of food, they have a varied selection of items to choose from. Their menu includes a few breakfast/brunch options, burgers, pizza, toasties and sweet pastries. The Baked Apple French Toast was a winning dish for me and I’m sure any sweet tooth would enjoy it. We did try the Calabrese Pizza which was a little average as the base wasn’t soft enough so it proved difficult to eat. The toppings lacked flavour too. Don’t let this stop you ordering one though, they seem to have just added pizza to the menu so I’m sure they’ll be taking any feedback on board to improve!

The real star of the show here are actually the non alcoholic drinks. Take a look at their Instagram (@nox.melbourne) and you’ll see how pretty all of their mocktails and coffees are. We particularly enjoyed the Lotus Biscoff as it wasn’t overly sweet and was just the perfect consistency.

I’m always on the lookout for spots where I can get some work done in a cuter environment than my desk at home, and let me tell you, Nox is it! See you there?

Find them at 62-64 Little La Trobe Street Melbourne, VIC 3000
